These 1992 IRB 1500's have had a full ABB Silver Service and have been repainted, so they are both mechanically and aesthetically as new. They have the compact version of the S3 control cabinet which is also fitted with a MIG welding interface board. It should also be noted that although some early S3 cabinets have only a single safety chain this robot has additional E-stop equipment fitted to give a double safety chain to comply with EU standards. The IRB1500 is perfect for MIG welding, sealing and light handling applications where good accuracy (0.1mm) and fast movement is required. Mechanically the 1500 is very similar to the IRB 1400 robot and shares it's younger siblings thin wrist design which gives the robot excellent maneuverability.
